Do You Suffer From Affiliate Marketing Schizophrenia?
Go out surfing the online universe in any subject that you can think of and you’ll probably see examples of affiliate marketing schizophrenia. Maybe you haven’t heard the term, but does your online business or website suffer from affiliate marketing schizophrenia?
Here’s my definition of affiliate marketing schizophrenia: Affiliate marketers who promote a wide range and variety of affiliate products and programs, including competing products, to the same target audience in the same niche. In other words, if you’re promoting affiliate product A to your email list and on your website today and then you start promoting a similar affiliate product B to the same audience tomorrow, then you have a serious case of affiliate marketing schizophrenia.
It’s okay… a lot of affiliate marketers do it. After all, there are so many affiliate products available to promote in many niches.
Besides, don’t you make more money if you promote more products?
Have you heard about Google’s latest business venture aimed at global domination in the online world? Okay, that was a bit harsh in this particular case, because they’re actually coming out with something that sounds pretty nice.
